Job Description

 

·         Over 6+ years of experience in Information technology with experience in complete life cycle of Software products involving Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and support for various data warehousing applications.

·         Well versed in BusinessObjects (4.0/ XI 3.1/XI 3.0/XIR2 /6.x /5.x) which include Installation, creating and administering repositories, universes, developing reports.

·         Excellent experience with DW Concepts such as Star schema, Snowflake Schema, OLTP, OLAP, Fact and dimensional tables. Experience includes designing, implementing and integrating various Data warehouse and Data Marts using Oracle10g, MS-SQL Server 2005/2008, Teradata, BW, and DB2.

·         Experienced in interacting with business users to analyze the business process and requirements and transforming requirements into screens, documenting and rolling out the deliverable.

·         Hands on experience in creating Universes using Designer, creating Reports using BusinessObjects, used multiple sources to create reports, Combined Queries, Slice and Dice, Drill Down, Cross tab and Master Detail Reports.

·         Solid work experience with migrations and upgrades of simple and complex environments.

·         Expert knowledge of BusinessObjects Architecture and Security.

·         Effectively administered and supervised the BusinessObjects environment by monitoring/granting permissions and rights to users for viewing, creating and publishing reports through CMC and Supervisor.

·         Experience with migrating and upgrading systems using new deployment, import wizard and lifecycle manager tool.

·         Good Knowledge of BW - Info Cubes, ODS Objects, Multi-Cubes, Multi-Providers, Info Objects, Info Sources, Info Packages, Transfer Rules, and Update Rules.
