Summary

• Proficiency with SQL development.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design ( stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints )
• Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies. Ability to handle full workload and meet proposed deadlines
• Must be flexible, open to suggestions, self-motivated, eager to learn and goal oriented and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainties
• Fluency in SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012 and 2014
• Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Identify data sources needed for robust analysis and decision making
• Develop and maintain complex ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services to maintain current data
• Automate routine procedures
• Provide Methodology, Data Mining and Analytical capabilities
• Perform complex data analysis, data modeling and data mining using SQL Server Analysis Services multi-dimensional and tabular Cubes
• Create comprehensive reporting capabilities using SQL Server Reporting Services
• Develop tools that will allow Data Analysts to access data and perform routine analysis
• Ability to design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures.
• Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.

Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years software experience.
• 4-5 years of experience functioning as SQL Developer (preferably at mid to large, multi-dimensional organization) using the following:
o SQL language
o SQL Server 2008, 2012 and 2014
o DTS
o SSIS
• Designing and developing ETL processes.

Desired/ Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle experience would be nice but not essential.
• Experience with ASP.NET/VB.NET, C#, Javascript/Jscript
• Working knowledge of VB.Net/C#, .Net Framework

KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (preferred Computer Science)
