Primary skills:
40 Hour work week, but will set own hours. 20 hours a week on first shift, 8-10 on second shift and 10-12 hour shift every other sunday.

Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Under general direction, the IT Systems/Server Administrator will work as a member of a team to provide technical support concerning server and storage based technology solutions. This individual will work independently on selected tasks and projects as assigned. This individual will ensure platform stability, availability, and reliability of the systems implemented into the production environment. This individual will handle specific deliverables including daily ticket/work request handling and event management in terms of overall availability/performance. This individual will also perform design changes related to application integration, platform system administration, problem management, preventive maintenance, and performance tuning within best practice standards.
EDUCATION:
Associates Degree in related field OR Minimum (2) years of experience administering Windows servers can be accepted as experience in lieu of education.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Driver's License is required, though it is not a driving role
EXPERIENCE:
• Two (2) years Computers/Information Technology.
• A comprehensive understanding of current versions of Microsoft Windows Server and Infrastructure management methods is a must.
• This individual will work as part of a team to implement, manage, maintain, and document a diverse infrastructure environment.
• Windows OS (2003, 2008 or 2012) and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) experience is a must.
OTHER KNOWLEDGE/ PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical staff at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work on projects both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues within all aspects of Information Technology.
• Ability to deal with a rapid, fast-paced, and changing environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Leadership skills including, sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating, and decision making skills.
• Ability to manage and deliver multiple project phases at the same time, and able to manage ongoing operational issues with longer term strategic work.
