Job description:
-8 Years BSC Experience
-Facilitation Skills to develop business reqs for projects
-Engineering Drawing Management systems understanding
Manages the business unit systems within assigned functional areas. Promotes proactive approaches using the systems to solve business needs/problems, while also enhancing the understanding and acceptance of the system capabilities.
(1) Actively seeks knowledge and understanding of business/technical environment, priorities, procedures and processes. Keeps apprised of current and emerging trends for the business unit's systems.
(2) Acts as the primary functional systems resource for assigned business unit(s) and provides consultation in the utilization of technology to streamline and improve processes and procedures.
(3) Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and regulatory agency laws and policies, internal operating policies and procedures, and audit standards. May conduct regular or ad hoc reviews of database and/or daily transactions to ensure data integrity.
(4) Leads and oversees the activities to support the function's systems, including documentation, and reporting/analytics. May define document requirements, test cases and all levels of testing.
(5) Manages system related projects of significant size, scope and strategic implications. Coordinates multiple participants and teams, plans and schedules scope and timeline, monitors successful and timely task completion. Works with others on the implementation strategies.
(6) Manages systems support including, but not limited to, researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Performs scheduled activities, recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
(7) May monitor, and track business goals, activities, performance monitoring and issues for an assigned unit(s) to keep management apprised of business unit activities.
(8) May participate in the planning, development, and administration of business unit's budget functions.
(9) Oversees the analysis and recommendation, installation and maintenance of new systems and the enhancement of existing systems. Provides input regarding functional requirements, policy/procedure interpretation, and future needs.
(10) Provides application/system training and support to functional users.
(11) Researches, analyzes, and resolves routine to complex business/operations problems related to systems utilized within the business unit. Interfaces with IS or vendor to resolve issues as necessary. Follows up with resolution of problems to ensure timely response.
(12) Works with functional areas to ensure appropriate data security controls, process and system documentation. Assists in the development and maintenance of tools and training aids to support the business unit(s).
(13) Works within assigned business functions to facilitate process improvement efforts and identifies opportunities to leverage existing or new technology to enhance efficiency or effectiveness.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BS/BA or an equivalent combination of four years relevant work experience and relevant college coursework in business, information technology or a related area. Additionally, eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience demonstrating a strong understanding of database design, structure, functions and processes, and business unit business systems.
