This individual will be responsible for support and engineering of technology services covering Storage (Arrays, SAN, NAS), Server (MAC, WINDOWS, LINUX, VMware), Cloud Computing, Data Protection (Backup, Recovery, DR) and SQL Server 2008. The Engineers will execute strategies for the Server, Storage and Enterprise Management Technology Domains and lead the transformation to the desired end state.
Principle Duties:
· Hands-on system administration, server support, telecom administration and network management.
· Maintenance of back-up/recovery operations, disaster recovery plans and security operations
· Development of standards and guidelines for server hardware, software and domain architecture.
· Research and recommend tools and products.
· Manage all vendor and account relationships.
· Provide support and consulting services to application development groups in systems architecture, operating systems configuration and hardware.
· Track hardware utilization and performance.
· Administration and/or management through delegation of Email system and company website.
Qualifications:
Must have 3+years' experience in technical services with proven proficiency in the following:
• Visio network design and architecture.
• Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server(s) 32 and 64 bit (install, configure, deploy, and manage).
• IIS 6/7+ (Install, configure, and manage).
• SQL Server 2005/2008 (install, manage, cluster, backup, and migrate).
• Exchange 2010 (install, configure, and manage).
• MS Office 2007/2010, Adobe suite, Quark, PageFlex, Filemaker.
• Active Directory, DNS, Remote Gateway
• Macintosh OSX, Mac Applications
• Cisco network routers/switches/VPN/firewalls.
• VMWare Workstation 7/8 (vSphere a plus)
• Symantec Backup (experience doing enterprise level backups and creating strategies for backup)
• Wiki management
• Pageflex 7.x Server/Client Clustering
