Description:
Summary- develop and design RPG/AS400 applications using native programming and OS utilities, enhancement and maintenance. The technical skills include the knowledge of computer hardware and software. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 10+ years experience required. Responsibility level exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor. Skills and Competencies Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time. Expert knowledge of design techniques and principles. Expert knowledge of computer software, such as RPG,IV, RPGLE, RPG FREE, CL, DDS, PDM. Preferred experience with Turnover, Hawkeye, DUB and SQL. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities; Design, build or modify applications created using RPG. Will work with other Team members to analyze and correct system issues and work on application enhancements. Responsible for testing and documentation of all changes. Will need to actively communicate project/workload status to Manager at all times. Note: This position is not eligible for Overtime billing.
