Reporting to Thomson Reuters DigitalGlobal Product Lead
Project currently in the Development Phase
Top Skills: Python is a must. Mongo DB is also a must but if does not have Mongo DB which is highly desired, the manager will train the worker. Must have REST API and JSON.

Description:
A strong Python Developer to work with our energetic team. We are working on the Next generation of Reuters.com. We are implementing the modern concepts of Cloud and Mongo DB for this project. This will be the first project in Thomson Reuters to implement these.
Job Requirement:
• Strong in Object Oriented Concepts and Python Language
• Proficient with concepts of Virtual Environments and familiarity with Fabric Tool
• Knowledge about general MVC Pattern
• Working experience of Tornado WebServer
• Familiar with REST API and JSON
• Familiar with Asynchronous Programming
• Familiar with AWS infrastructure
• Good knowledge of MongoDB concepts
• Familiar with HTML5 (optional)
• Java Script (optional)
•
Qualifications:
• 4-6 years of development experience with Object Oriented Languages
• 1-2 years of Python development experience
• Knowledge of Front-end HTML5 concepts is a Plus to coordinate with the Front-end development
• Agile development experience a plus
• A demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Good Unit Testing practices
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Willing to interact and work with different teams across the organizations in different time zones
• Willing to work overtime and weekends if required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Masters in Computer Science or Information Technology is an (added advantage)
