Location: Jacksonville, FL
Length: 7+ months

Start; ASAP
Interview: phone

Rate: 45/HR all inclusive

 

Manager prefers LOCAL candidates

This position will serve as the overall technical lead for oversight in the areas of Network, Storage, facilities build-out and server migrations to assess and advise on the current and future environments. This resource will be assigned to oversee the technical side of the program including but not limited to:

• Network and Storage design reviews and recommendations as required
• Data Center infrastructure reviews and recommendations as required
• Hardware assessment/recommendations as required
• Migration planning and execution activities.

Essential Duties:
• Assess facility – flooring, cable design, power generation, switch gear, fire detection/suppression, security and monitoring, rack installations. Etc.
• Network – assess current and proposed environments and advise as necessary.
• Storage – assess current and proposed environments and advise as necessary.
• Server Migrations – oversight for target environment, migration planning and migration events.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES (include appropriate hardware, software skills needed):

• EMC certified
• Cisco certified
• VMWare certified
• Microsoft certified
