Role: JDE Data Mapping and Migration Expert
Location: Denver, CO
Duration; 3-5 Months
Role Description:
• Provide detailed data structure subject matter expertise for JDEdwards OneWorld XE with particular knowledge of the table and field structures of Assets, Vendors, Materials, Banks, Inventory Balances, G/L Balances, Purchase Orders, and Projects.
• Working business process knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Review data migration requirements to migrate data from JDEdwards to SAP.
• Review and revise related data migration deliverables developed by others where needed.
• Learn and understand how to use the Cransoft EZMap and Data Construction Server toolset used to drive technical data mapping efforts and communicate to the Data Migration Specialists.
• Drive table, field, and value mapping activities between JDEdwards and SAP utilizing JDEdwards data structure subject matter expertise.
• Identify root cause for defects identified during data migration testing and provide expertise for defect resolution.
• Leverage existing business analysts where possible, to assist with mapping activities and drive efficient completion.
• Assist and inform Project Data Lead with respect to risks and issues associated with JDEdwards data migration requirements, resources, deliverables, schedule, etc.
Key Qualities:
• Must be a senior resource with deep subject matter expertise brought to the table.
• Must be able to "hit the ground running" leveraging subject matter expertise to make progress quickly.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
