Description

We are currently seeking a strong BA with strong Healthcare experience and strong SDLC and analysis skills. Candidates should be not submitted if they do not meet the minimum requirements described in the job request. This is NOT FOR ICD-10. Our Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 6 month contract to assist with ongoing EHR enhancements for the Healthcare Clinics. The Analyst will have primary responsibility for working with subject matter experts, vendors, business units, and other members of IT to facilitate timely completion and accuracy of the requirements artifacts in support of EHR related projects. Must have the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals and be able to translate needs, ideas, and suggestions into logical solutions that interconnect systems. The qualified candidate will possess five or more years of experience as a Business Analyst for projects involving software development and systems integration. Prior healthcare experience is required. Job Requirements: X Bachelor's degree Computer Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. X 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst. X 5+ years experience in software lifecycle development. X Deep understanding of common SDLC methodologies to include RUP, agile, etc. X Extensive experience in writing detailed requirements of user needs, business impacts, and system functionality for software development life cycle that are actionable, definable, relevant, measurable, and testable. X Experience in business process modeling, process analysis, and process improvement. X Knowledge of Healthcare industry trends and formats including (HL7, HIPAA, HIE, ICD, CPT) X Experience in identifying healthcare operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems. X Prior consulting experience highly desired. X Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with team members and customers from diverse backgrounds. X Ability to learn new and complex subject areas quickly. X Extended working hours may be required as needed. X Ability to travel as required by project.
