IT Project Manager

We are looking for a technical, highly-motivated, extremely organized driver to lead a team of IT resources in the successful development and integration of a multi-channel application. This resource should be creative, resourceful, experienced in Agile, and have lead programs/projects with multiple system integrations both internally in the company as well as externally with multiple vendors.

** The ideal candidate may have started off as a developer and progressed into a Project Manager role. This is not a requirement but is preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities:

·         Manages day-to-day activity of program/project team

·         Ensures delivery of program(s) and/or project(s) on time, to budget and to quality

·         Ensures communication and alignment between all teams

·         Ensures programs and projects are meeting timelines and deliverables

·         Resolves issues, roadblocks and changes, and escalates to the PCM, when appropriate

·         Responsible for budget forecasts/projections

·         Financial reporting to budget

·         Point of escalation for all teams

·         Drives successful integrations with internal and external teams, including vendors

·         Develops program roadmap with PCM

·         Experience with offshore and nearshore development teams

·         Ensures team is following all processes, procedures, and templates used in department or organization

·         Identify and improve any processes or procedures that are outdated or obsolete

·         Create a culture of continuous improvement, change and world class delivery

MUST Have Skills:

• 5 or more years of IT systems experience in application delivery and management.
• 2 or more years of program management experience
• 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports and people management responsibilities
• 1 or more years of experience managing and being accountable for budgets over $1M
• Willingness to work in a BBY store for up to 2 weeks, if needed
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends, as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2 or more years of experience managing Agile teams
• Product Management experience
• Technical skills (preferably developer experience)
• Application Development skills
• Large Enterprise Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

•        Prior IT experience implementing large scale IT development programs or other large program implementation in a dotcom environment

•        5 or more years of experience gathering business needs and creating into workable outcomes

•        5 or more years of experience in business process and/or technology implementation

•        3 or more years of experience managing third party vendor relationships and offshore development teams to achieve business outcomes

•        5 or more years of experience at a manager level or above delivering global IT capabilities for a multi-national company with annual budgetary responsibilities

•        5 or more years of experience at a manager level in a multi-channel brand business environment

•        Multiple years of experience of delivering new business capabilities by applying system and delivery lifecycle methods and approaches

•        Prior experience in working with organizational change management/leadership and process change management.

•        Prior development experience
