 Project Server Administrator

Location: Branchburg, NJ

Duration: through 1/31/2014

Max Rate: $55/hr C2C Or

 

Responsibilities include:
· Resolution of user issues
· Granting user access
· Data maintenance and data quality issues
· Maintaining resource pools
· Perform ad‐hoc reporting
· Perform testing of new SW releases and patches
· Knowledge base updates
· Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the MSPS Administrator
Experience:
· A practical understanding of Microsoft architectures, including Windows Server, IIS as related to
a Microsoft Project Server implementation.
· Thorough working knowledge of configurations supporting SharePoint and Project Server 2010.
· Experience with day to day administration of Project Server and SharePoint 2010 including
access permissions, browser and desktop application configuration, and user documentation
· Experience using Project Professional with Project Web Access and SharePoint Project
Workspaces, and understanding the inter‐dependencies between the tools.
· Understanding and demonstrated use of best practices in the creation and use of Project
Server's Security Model (RBS, Groups, Categories).

 

Qualifications:
· Three or more years of experience with Microsoft Project Server 2007/2010 and SharePoint
technologies.
· Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve production issues
· Excellent English communication skills
· Solid understanding of project management office processes is desirable
· Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
· The ability to maintain the configuration of Project Server 2010
