REQUIREMENTS:
-This is for a development supervisor to provide oversight to development teams
-Looking for technical background in the .NET stack.
-Will also be responsible communicating status and reporting issues.
-They do need prior development experience but this is not a coding position.

 

The Dev Tech Lead is designed to offload day-to-day project delivery oversight responsibilities from Development Managers.
This role is accountable for stewardship of large, cross functional development and systems integration projects for. The Dev Tech Lead functions as a project manager focused on the delivery of middleware applications. The Dev Tech Lead has to work effectively with Leadership and multiple stakeholders to apply customer relationship management practices, including the identification of appropriate, mutually agreed objectives. The Dev Tech Lead must also be able to work effectively with and lead technical personnel (Development Team Managers, Systems Analysts, Developers, Testers), and clearly translate business priorities and objectives into technical solutions

 

• Ensures coordination of delivery teams within a specific domain

• Works with development leads to define code drops and coordinates the alignment of code drop dependencies

• Provide overall development project leadership, and direct project teams in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes

• Coordinates through the development managers all delivery activities and act as the escalation point for all development and build issues specific to projects

• Coordinate with the development teams to ensure clear expectations of milestones and goals

• Must be able to create and maintain a plan using MS Project and report weekly progress based on the plan

• Coordinates and communicates night of deployment status and issues to leadership on planned deployment activity dates

• Minimum 5 years of software development and project experience

• MS Project for planning, monitoring, and reporting

• Experience in onshore/offshore model for project delivery

• Prefer knowledge of application development and system architecture preferred; basic knowledge of web/SOAP services, Java, and XML preferred

• Skills and knowledge acquired through Development, Technical Lead, or Project Management experience are required in each of the following areas: Project Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management, Systems Integration, Systems Development Life Cycle Methodologies, Quality Assurance and Testing, Requirements Gathering, and Systems Analysis and Design

• Sharepoint for Project Management

• A four year degree is required
