Role: Functional and Performance Tester with FACETS

Location: LA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field. Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a degree. Minimum of three to five years of health insurance-related work experience including planning and conducting functional and performance testing. Experience in testing client-server based integrated systems preferred. Previous experience with Facets preferred. Requires knowledge of computing systems and the applications development process, including computer equipment, programming languages, programming and analysis techniques, relational databases, operating systems, test planning and test methodologies, and test data management. Ability to translate business needs into technical testing requirement. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals. Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate technical information to functional users.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develops and implements procedures to conduct quality-control tests. Conducts quality-control tests and analyzes the company's core and integrated systems to ensure configuration, maintenance, and upgrades meet or exceed specified standards and operations-defined goals, needs, and metrics. Ensures implementations are free from defects and/or risk is identified. Collaborates with all necessary parties to ensure the integrity, security, availability, reliability, and performance of technical architecture for testing and to provide support by responding to inquiries regarding defects, problems, or questions about testing. Identifies, recommends, and implements tools and processes to enhance the effectiveness of the company's quality assurance and testing strategies as they relate to Facets and/or an integrated system. Provides team support, and both technical and soft skill mentoring and knowledge transfer for small groups of professionals. Ensures test plan activities are completed on time and within budget. Develops comprehensive test result reports and communicates the testing status.
