Role: Release engineer/Development operations {Midlevel}

Location: Houston Texas

Type of hire: 3-6 months Contract to hire

 Roles and responsibilities:

 

Implement and support tools for continuous integration, automated testing and release management
Own, manage and improve our release process.
Communicate with shared services and project teams for timely deployments
Perform configuration management
Maintain applications codebase across multiple environments
Monitor applications and jobs to ensure they are running without errors
Write and maintain scripts to build automation across processes
Document and maintain processes and run books and provide reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis

Skills:
System and application Monitoring
Understanding and prior experience with build tools like Jenkins, Hudson etc
SQL
Linux Environment
Scripting (any of Ant, Maven, PHP, Python)
