 BOBJ Security Consultant

Location: Boston, MA
Length: 2-3 months

Interview: Phone

 

Looking for hands on work and hands on experience with trouble-shooting BOE errors, adjusting BOE security, understanding integration with BEX queries, and upgrading from SP02 to SP04 and SP05.

 

Environment

•Business Objects SP04 Patch 2

•Using WEBI and some use of Rich Client

•Connected to SAP BW 7.0 using BEX queries

 

Activities

•             Assist project team with resolving defects raised during user test

•             BOE security issues (e.g. folder access and other BOE functionality by expert and view level roles)

•             Java exceptions

•             Lead an upgrade from SP04 Patch 2 to SP05 Patch 5

•             Help analyze release notes

•             Document and perform upgrade in all environments

•             Cross train SAP Basis team on BOE administration and security
