 Title:    Perl Developer

Location:  New York City

Duration:  9 months with renewal

 

We are looking for a candidate with 5-7 years of experience in perl development and expertise in object oriented perl design, development and implementation.  The individual will work closely with other team members, application developers, and IT owners of the data sources.  Individual will be responsible for the development of PERL components.  To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to have the ability to gather requirements and design the PERL related work products. Candidate must also be able to step-in to existing projects and take on a hands-on development role. Skills Required Expertise in developing, maintaining and managing perl related work products, preferably with working knowledge of object orientation perl. In-depth knowledge of PERL concepts. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience Unix/Linux programming (shell and/or Perl) Experience in problem-solving/ conflict resolution, critical thinking and priority-setting. Look for opportunities to improve current processes or find efficiencies by applying industry best practices for PERL development     ********IMPORTANT******** As per the client request we have new guidelines when sending a resume:   1.   Copy of H1B or Visa in case of Nonresident along with Visa stamping on Passport 2.   Detailed / Relevant synopsis or qualification notes per job description 3.   Client Manager referral details from the most recent 1 -2 projects with contact information 4.   Copy of state issued ID like License
