Citrix Administrator

The Citrix Administrator will administer new projects and maintain the operation, support and maintenance of Best Buy's global Remote Access Services.   In addition to being responsible for the delivery of new project and technologies, this team member will also be accountable for the existing technologies including monitoring, capacity planning, support and performance management of the Remote Access Services portfolio. 

The Remote Access Services Administrator acts as the team's highest escalation point.   This position helps to maintain support of an established portfolio of complex remote access solutions including Citrix, XenDesktop, XenApp, Provisioning Services, and cloud computing in support of Best Buy's mobile workforce and offshore support resources.

The scope of the remote access services technologies is to enable approved users to securely access Best Buy internal network from anywhere at any time with any device.  We are looking for outstanding team members to join us in our efforts to ensure a successful project and support model.

Responsibilities:

• 5+ years Citrix experience in deploying, implementing, and supporting Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and Provisioning Services
• Knowledge surrounding network and storage configurations related to Citrix virtualization
• Microsoft Server OS install, configuration and troubleshooting
• Server virtualization hypervisor administration in an enterprise environment to include one of the following VMware, XenServer or HyperV
• Microsoft Visio to be able to capture and document existing and new environments
• Ability to adapt to both support and project work.

Position responsibilities include:

• Remote Access Services highest point of escalation Level 3
• Stay abreast to new Citrix technologies with training and whitepapers
• Document engineering and build process of existing and new implantations
• Build and maintain Citrix lab to ensure testing of hot fixes and service packs
• Build and maintain service books for service offering
• Team Player

Must Have Skills:

• 5 years Citrix experience consisting of any or combination of the following: XenApp/XenDesktop, StoreFront, Provisioning Services, and EdgeSight

5 or more years of experience working Microsoft Windows Server OS
