QA Analyst
Location: Bloomington, MN.
Duration: 6+Months

The SQA Analyst is responsible for developing, executing and maintaining test cases to ensure the design requirements are being met for Pearson VUE's Test Drivers and other supporting applications.  The analyst works closely with the agile software development team clearly communicating status and blockers.

REQUIRED
·  8 years minimum experience in testing
·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Math or Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
·  2+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
·  Proficiency with reading and writing XML.
·  Ability to organize, track and test application features based on specified business requirements.
·  Proven ability to find bugs by using a test-to-break approach and not just verify the application under test meets the requirements.
·  Experience creating test plans and test cases or scenarios.
·  Document software defects using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
·  Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
·  Contribute to product design, documentation and support.
·  Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
·  Participate in peer reviews of test scenario code coverage and efficacy.
·  Proven experience with agile development methodologies.
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·  Able to decipher business requirements documents.
·  Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
·  Ability to adjust to day-to-day changes in priorities and demands.
·  Able to provide QA task estimates for project planning purposes.
·  Efficient problem solver.

DESIRED
·  Experience with agile project management tools.
·  Experience with automated testing tools (i.e. QTP, TWIST).
·  High level of experience in at least one programming language (C#, Java, Python, Java Script, VB, etc.)
·  Experience with source code repository tools.
·  Experience testing Exam Delivery systems
