Project/Role:   Role/Responsibilities: • Take direction from the Technical Delivery Lead to engage in the following: o Assess customer's existing Symantec Altiris system, and supporting infrastructure, for application and OS package deployment, as well as, application virtualization readiness o Develop and document app./desktop deployment and app. virtualization readiness gap analysis o Develop and document Symantec Altiris architecture and operational improvement recommendations o Develop automated application and OS deployment process using Symantec Altiris using scripts and custom code as needed o Provide Symantec Altiris application virtualization sequencing cross-training to Avanade offshore Application Factory team o Provide Symantec Altiris operational support to customer and Avanade project teams throughout project lifecycle

Skills Required: Advanced or greater skills rating in the following areas: • ***Symantec Altiris*** • Windows 7 Desktop Transformation • Windows 7 Migrating • OSD - Operating System Deployment ·         Symantec (Altiris) Workspace Virtualization ·         PowerShell scripted OS/app. deployment using SEM/Altiris   Experience • 5 years+ experience delivering Symantec Altiris application and operating system deployment solutions • 5 years+ experience delivering Windows Desktop Deployment solutions • 3 years+ experience delivering Symantec Workstation Virtualization (Altiris app. Virtualization) solutions • Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written • Ability to work well within tight delivery timelines • Ability to work well within an aggressive customer environment
