Business Analyst, Sitecore
6+ Month Contract

Requisition Details:
The qualified candidate will be working on the company's public facing websites built on Sitecore. The project will involve re-architecting our Sitecore environment and moving all the existing sites to one instance of Sitecore. This person will work closely with the Sitecore developers as well as the Marketing team so the communication from the Development Team to the Business units should be smooth/clear/concise. Someone who has worked on marketing/communication projects would be ideal.
Job Duties:
• Facilitates the execution and implementation of key business initiatives involving technology components.
• Consults with project management to plan and organize the project
• Develops As-Is Process flows and Future-To-Be Business Process Flows & Use Cases
• Monitors and escalates observations and concerns to project management and Web team manager
• Extracts, clarifies and documents business requirements from all users by leading one on one interviews and cross functional sessions
• Translates business needs into specifications used by the development staff to create technical designs and programming specifications
• Manages business requirements and resolves issues while using effective change management processes throughout the systems development life cycle
• Assures that the delivered system meets the business requirements by participating in development testing process, writing and executing test scripts (QA) and facilitating User Acceptance Testing
• Supports the business and the development team throughout implementation
• Provides the communications bridge between business and technology
• Acts as a liaison between business and IT, including outsource partners, by managing communications, relationships, and priorities
• Contributes to business planning and application support
• Assesses proposed initiatives by bringing a broad IT perspective, engaging appropriate IT resources and IT partners to drive out cost benefit analysis.
• Act as a subject matter expert as it relates to systems and applications throughout the corporation
• Coordinates system enhancements resulting from strategic planning
• Participates in activities involved in systems analysis, content effectiveness, cost savings analysis, and system redesign, as well as planning and directing activities intended to develop new or revised processes
• Ensures that approved proposals are carried through to delivery
General Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, and Mathematics, Engineering, Business or area of functional responsibility preferred, or equivalent 5 years of industry work experience
• 3 years of industry experience in a technical profession
• Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model, preferred
• Ability to work in a highly matrix and geographically diverse business model
• Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
• Strong organizational, attention to detail and task follow-up skills
Required / Desired Skills
• Experience in complex IT projects Required 5-7 Years
• Proven technical ability and strong analytical ability Required 8 Years
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with PM and Software Development Life Cycle Required 10 Years
Technical Domain Qualifications:
• Domain expertise defining marketing review and approval workflows in a regulated environment – 4 years.
• Domain expertise with web content management systems and/or Sitecore – 4 years.
• Experience defining solutions requirements for custom website and application development – 4 years.
• Experience defining solutions and testing against multiple target client platforms and web browsers – 4 years.
