Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Client currently has multiple Mid-level Project Management contract positions available. All will be located in Minneapolis, MN. The contract will start off as 6-12 month project terms.

 

Summary:

Provides project management leadership for project(s) within a business area throughout the project lifecycle process, ensuring projects meet business requirements and are completed on time and within budget. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to stakeholders. 4 year college degree. Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills.

 

Seeking resources with 5-7 years of PM experience. Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques. Understands the various application development methodologies (waterfall, iterative, etc.) and can apply them appropriately depending on the type of project that he/she is leading. Knowledge of project management tools, methods and best practices such as those defined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Experience with leading onshore-offshore resources.  

 

Experience within the retail industry is highly desired!
