Job Title           : Sr. Oracle DBA

Location           : Washington, DC

Duration          : Long term

 

Activities include:

• Participation in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 database support may be required – not currently in place.

• Monitor incident ticket queue and troubleshoot and resolve database incidents within SLAs

• Monitor backup results and resolve/troubleshoot failed database backups.

• Apply database security patches.

• Apply database maintenance patches and upgrade databases to supported release levels.

• Perform new builds as required by discretionary projects

• Represent the database team on various customer project initiatives as a subject matter expert (SME).

• Support application development teams in their database requirements.

•Maintain documentation store of DBA operational policies and procedures.
