Responsibilities:

 

THIS IS A TEST COORDINATOR POSTION, BUT ALSO REQUIRES THE CANDIDATE TO HAVE FULL TESTING KNOWLEDGE INCLUDING SCRIPTING, AUTOMATED SCRIPTING AND MANUAL TESTING

This position is responsible for program level coordination of test activities and test strategies, and identifying quality risks in regards to new and existing concurrent applications. The role is responsible for coordinating agreed upon testing activities across all designated groups for both ITG and Business.  This position is responsible for working directly with Information Technology and Business leadership and staff to provide coordination services, metrics regarding project status, SDM compliance and timelines.  This position will participate in planning meetings and workgroups and nurture a relationship between ITG and Business.  This position must be able to interact with testers, developers, business users, PMO and Project Sponsors in order to promote project success.

 

This position is responsible for evaluating requirements for testing new or modified products and documentation prior to production release; designing, developing, creating, and executing test plans and cases based on software requirements and technical understanding of product architecture; executing various system, performance, integration, and ad-hoc tests according to approved test plans and testing schedule; troubleshooting, in conjunction with end users and development teams, on issues of reproducing, investigating and debugging software; generating defect reports for issues found during testing, and providing accurate testing status to project stakeholders; focusing on project quality issues, but also makes contributions beyond immediate assignments; possessing broad overall knowledge of business applications; working independently; managing multiple testing projects concurrently.

Required Skills:

·         Experience in developing scripts for Selenium is required.

·         Experience with Automated Testing Tool to record and play (i.e. QTP, Rational Suite, Selenium, JMeter)

·         Experience with Web Applications involving Java/J2EE.

·         Need to involve in Unit, Integration, System and Performance Testing Cycles.

·         Experience with IBM Quality Center (2 Years)
