Basic Function

·         Provides practical business analysis services associated with multiple, simultaneous Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) technology implementation projects managed by the organizations IT Project Management Office

·         Elicits and documents business requirements, contributes to RFP development for packaged software, evaluates vendors against requirements, facilitates fit/gap and design sessions with vendors, develops test scenarios, and creates training materials. 

 

Job Responsibilities

·         Facilitate the development of a common set of requirements from distinct and cross-functional teams using leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

·         Develop business analysis deliverables including requirements documentation, vendor evaluation criteria, fit/gap and design documentation, test plans, training plans, and training materials

·         Identify and document design gaps, develop options to resolve gaps, and provide estimates for work effort and duration

·         Translate business requirements into functional design specifications, and work with project team to create integrated solution designs

·         Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve issues during design, build, and test

·         Solve business, technical, and execution problems through team work, facilitation, negotiation, and collaboration, and by identifying alternatives, trade-offs, and work-arounds; generate and provide transparency to quicker or less expensive options and alternatives
