Position:  SAP Tester/ Lead

Location: NJ

 

Responsbilites

·         Works closely with off‐shore testing team responsible for executing regression tests in the SAP FSL‐Global system (SAP FS‐CD and FS‐RI modules). Responsibilities include test script execution, data sourcing/data provisioning, defect analysis, and ensuring that proper test result documentation and processes are followed as per the test strategy.

·         Perform initial analysis of defects identified during the regression testing cycle and escalate issues as required to the Functional Support Teams for resolution and ensure that the defects are closed within the required timeframe

·         Responsible for all aspects of testing and Quality Assurance thru the full SAP systems lifecycle from requirements gathering or Blueprinting through implementation

·         Applies subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve Product and Process Quality.

·         Automate regression test scripts in order to reduce the amount of time and resources required to execute the regression test bed

·         Partners with the Production Support and Project Support teams to ensure that test scripts are developed or modified to cover new functionality and/or enhancements that are introduced into the production system on an ongoing basis

·         Analyze defects identified in production system to ensure that the proper controls are implemented in the regression test bed to ensure that the defect does not occur in production again

 

Requirements:

 

·         Experience working with SAP FS‐CD and/or FS‐RI modules

·         Demonstrated experience working with off‐shore resources

·         Strong understanding of Agile/Waterfall/ incremental software development and Business Analysis practices.

·         Strong RDBMS SQL skills

·         Experience working with design, implementation, and support of knowledge management solutions and related technologies for collaborative information sharing

·         Experience working with HP Quality Center Business Process Component, HP QuickTest Professional, SAP TAO and/or SAP Solution Manager is a plus

·         Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a "can‐do" attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
