 Title: Teradata DBA

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: through 12/15/2013

Interview type: phone if not local.  If local they will do a phone then possible 2^nd round face to face.

Requirement details:

Resource will be part of a team responsible for MSWM and ISG Teradata installations. Some of the day to day activities are: Performance monitoring, change implementation, performance tuning, back up and recovery, privilege maintenance, user maintenance, new database setup, troubleshooting DBQL and PDCR issues, educating users, troubleshooting user issues, etc. Team is responsible for overseeing all hardware and software changes by Teradata support and CSRS.
Skills Required
• Certified Teradata Master v2r5 (preferred).
• Experience with either Netvault or Netbackup
• Experience with Teradata 12 or higher
• Experience with Teradata Manager and PMON
• Experience with Linux/Unix node level utilities
• Experience with T@YS
• Proficiency in TD Dynamic Workload Manager V12 and V13
Skills Desired
• Knowledge of Viewpoint
• Experience with Perl scripting
• Exposure of LDAP bases authentication
• Experience with Kerberos and F5
• Familiarity with Netcool alert system
