REST web services is the primary skillset for this position. Need someone who knows it well.
Overview:
Our client is looking to bring on a developer to help create and document new REST services to an existing CRM application.
Principal Responsibilities
· Lead the development team in the creation and documenting new REST services that are key to the development of new applications and the migration of existing associate facing CRM applications.
• Software development of new and existing internal applications.
• Production support of new and existing internal applications.
• Part of larger team that will be migrating to a technology stack that includes HTML5, CSS, JQuery and Backbone.js
Required:
Advanced experience with Java OO programing
Solid understand of RESTful Web Services principles, concepts, guidelines
Must be able to build REST services from scratch.
Working knowledge and proven experience creating RESTful Java Web Services using Spring and/or Jersey that communicate with back end SOA services
Strong organizational communication skills
5-7 years development experience
BS in Computer Sciences Field
Preferred:
Experience with developing applications using CSS, HTML5, OO Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, Backbone.js, Node.js, MVC Frameworks.
