Job Description

We are looking for 2 Java developers to work with a team of 2 other developers integrating our sales application to a SaaS provider that will handle scheduling appointments. We currently have a custom application to schedule appointments and we are replacing this with a vendor product (Booker) that is hosted externally. Part of the integration includes setting up an Enterprise Service Bus to handle the communication and work-flow between our systems and the scheduling product.



Responsibilities

? Work with technology team from the vendor application to understand and document the system integration between internal systems and Booker APIs.

? Design and document services required to integrate to scheduling system.

? Create new java web services required in the integration.

? Configure the ESB to manage the workflow and transform data between the systems.

? Create necessary technical design documents (UML) based on functional requirements from the Business Analyst

Requirements

? 6 or more years of development experience with Java enterprise applications (JEE)

o Java

o Spring Framework

o Hibernate (or other Object Relational framework)

o Web Service development

o JUnit tests

o XML

o Maven

? Knowledge of object oriented design principles

? Experience with integrating systems through APIs, both batch and real time.

? Database development knowledge, solid understanding of SQL, Oracle preferred

? Strong debugging and problem solving skills; analytical skills

? Excellent communication skills

? Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus setup and integration preferred

? Knowledge of Agile methodologies preferred
