Title : Java Scriot developer
Location : Freeport,Maine
Duration : 6 months plus
We have an immediate need for a Web Developer to work on Web Strategic Initiative Projects.
This role requires a strong understanding of JavaScript and jQuery.
Required core competencies:
Extensive experience with HTML5 standards.
Extensive experience with CSS3.
Extensive experience with Javascript and JQuery.
Excellent knowledge of hand-coded HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the DOM.
Knowledge of JavaScript/UI libraries and their use in implementing AJAX solutions.
Accessibility and SEO knowledge.
Implementing and consuming cross platform Web Services like JSON/REST.
Familiarity with progressive enhancement and responsive web design.
Ability to work in a command-line Unix environment.
Excellent written and verbal English-language skills.
Nice to have:
Java experience.
Unix shell scripting experience.
Graphic design experience.
