Requires 10+ years of experience in software development/architecture, at least 3 in the telecom industry in BSS/OSS
Ability to understand business needs and clearly document business and functional requirements, including business processes and workflow using standard techniques including UML.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Able to decompose and solve problems at the appropriate level within the system, keeping in mind the higher level structures and their requirements and dependencies with adjoining subsystems
Experience working with cross-functional teams from multiple departments
Ability to define and prioritize product requirements and work with technical teams
Ability to analyze and understand complex workflows and processes, and to develop innovative approaches to streamlining and automating them
Experience in communicating functional requirements to the developers and facilitate the development of solutions
Outstanding attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and handle ambiguity
Must be a team player.
Must  have  "can do"/"will do" attitude.

    
Major Duties
  
Work closely with the business to evaluate and scope initiatives, flush out technical requirements, and drive development through aggressive launch cycles
Gather and document business requirements by working with the business users and stakeholders to understand their needs
Manage business process flows, object models, prioritized requirements documents, use cases, and application prototypes
Collaborate with software engineers to negotiate and define product solutions
Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best solution to support the most efficient business processes
Works with quality assurance team to address any ambiguities in functional specifications
Facilitate communication with developers to ensure that customer requirements are translated to design specifications and appropriate testing efforts
Monitors current and future trends, technology and information that will positively affect organizational projects; applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture. Mentors team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture.
Maintain a team oriented working environment that promotes open discussion on important issues, a high level of personal commitment and accountability to the business, and a continued focus on quality and customer service.
Acts as architectural lead on projects
 
Minimum Qualifications

Education
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Masters Preferred
