Job Description:

SAS Statistician Developer Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Primary responsibility is statistical modeling, data validation, and design and business analytics, primarily using SAS and Excel for analysis of retail scheduling optimization data. Consult with field partners to develop, enhance, QA and implement solutions and models to address and influence complex business problems that maximize business value and our retail schedules. Apply Statistical techniques to various analytical projects to analyze data and build models Model monitoring and data validation, including working with field teams to make recommendations on model and tool enhancements /performance. Experience building and validating statistical models with large datasets Proven ability to clearly translate modeling /data results to business stake holders Strong understanding of the realities of working with large, rich datasets Gathers, consolidates, links and analyzes data/metrics from multiple sources such as eCDW, site analytics, Kronos, Cinglepoint. Enhance Tool that optimizes schedules for our retail schedules using data from multiple data sources such as eCDW. Willingness to learn new tool usage Oracle Business Intelligence. Creates results presentations and facilitates results review meetings with senior leadership, directors and managers to analyze, QA results and action planning. Provides executive ad hoc support for business reviews. Required Skills: Base SAS, SAS Stat, SAS Enterprise Miner SQL - specifically Terdata SQL Experience using UNIX Expert level in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word Experience using Google Earth and an understanding of GIS software Desired: Oracle Business Intelligence.
