IT - Proxy/Firewall Analyst

Direct client requirement - please send matching resumes ASAP!

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 6 months

 

Description/ Required Skills:

- Consultant to handle firewall proxy changes. 

- Understanding of internet routing protocol, IT security and Internet Security.

- Working knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS

- Working knowledge of Bluecoat Proxy

- Working knowledge of Check point firewall.

- Knowledge of Linux OS.

- Designs, configure tests and implements connections in a timely and efficient manner.

- Troubleshoots and debugs connections to peers, customers, vendors and internal network connections.

- Analyzes requested changes and performs maintenance to existing connection-related hardware and software.

- Works as part of a team with user and/or customer staff to determine project requirements, goals, implementation schedules, etc.

 

Additional Need of Candidate (Nice To Have):

- Second language in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
