 TFS Configuration Specialist

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: through 8/31/2014

Max Rate: $55/hr C2C 

REQUIRED:

• 1 year of configuration management experience
• 1 year Team Foundation Server experience (TFS 2012)
• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio

Job Summary: 

• Work as part of the Configuration Management team managing, building, and deploying code to development and production environments.
• Work as part of a technical support team delivering quality service to single/multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software products.
• Provide technical support & maintenance of production and development systems and administration of environments, running on various platforms, ensuring SLA targets are met.
• Provide ongoing improvement of activities related to a part or to the whole of a technical infrastructure (e.g. information systems, security, telecommunications networks, etc.).
• Deploy standard repeatable build outs.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
• Analyze and assess the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on production systems.
• Plan and implement medium to high risk changes on production systems.
• Deploy standard repeatable build outs.
• Install, configure, and maintain configuration management tools.
• Ability to work stand-alone while part of an overall group or project effort.
• Ability to operate as a specialist trouble- shooter within own group or project.
• Inputs to direction of group or project within own area of specialization.
• Highly skilled in specific specialist area.
