Responsibilities
currently seeking a SAS Developer with Risk Analytics expertise in Consumer Finance. Working excellence using Excel/VBA is mandatory for this position. This is a Long Term opportunity to work for Fortune 5 Company located in Norwalk, CT.
Responsibilities:
Develop and modify applications used by business units.
Work with large, diverse financial data to conduct/support Consumer Risk analytics
Participate in most steps of the soft development life cycle and modify software;
Skills and experience:
4-6 years of related experience ( SAS Base, SAS Stat, SAS ETS), SAS certified preferred
Macro Excel/VBA experience;
Familiar with Unix
Big data analytics (data cleaning, processing through SAS)
Knowledge of spreadsheet modeling, statistical analysis; predictive modeling
Previous Financial experience ( Mortgage) is a huge plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or related field is preferred.
Pro-active/Can Do attitude to work in dynamic/uncertain environment
High Attention to details and Excellent communication skills
