Responsibilities:

 

·         Work with end users to gather the Functional Specifications.

·         Work on loading data from several flat files sources to Staging using Teradata MLOAD, FastLoad.

·         Build tables and views.

·         Write Teradata BTEQ scripts.

·         Work with the Teradata SQL Assistant to interface with the Teradata.

·         Partitioned tables which have frequent inserts, deletes and updates to reduce the contention and to improve the performance.

·         Creating reports and monitoring reports monthly, weekly and daily basis on DB2 database.

·         Created many complex queries spanning large database for providing the solutions.

·         Work on scheduling and automating various batch jobs.

·         Extensive UNIX shell scripting.
