Role:       Ruby On Rails Developer

Location:        Atlanta, GA; Birmingham, AL; Dallas, TX; St. Louis, MO; San Ramon, CA

 

Job Description:

Education and Technical Skill Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
2-4 years or more experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, RVM, Bundler
2-4 years or more experience with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, Redhat, etc)
Experience with other development languages and frameworks like java, python, clojure, erlang, javascript, node.js, and/or bash.
Strong understanding of web technologies
Comfortable with large-scale deployments
Experience with Git or other version control system
Experience with relational database technologies like Postgres or MySQL.
Experience with non-relational database technologies like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Riak.
An understanding of test methodologies and a commitment to their application
Experience building consumer facing web applications with Ruby on Rails
Consider yourself a Full Stack Developer
Knowledge of distributed systems
Familiarity with agile practices
Experience with networking, system administration
