Workbrain Functional Consultant
Location: Burbank , Ca
Responsibilities:
- Provide Time and Attendance - Functional consultant services in support of the Workbrain project, by being responsible for developing and coordinating assigned deliverables.
- For the Workbrain project, complete MRLS deliverables as directed by the Project Executive & Project Manager in support of MIS's Software Development Life Cycle ("SDLC") methodology ("Master and Integration Work Plan"). Coordinate with other Project area Leads and coordinate with the TW HR/Payroll project to provide analysis and solution design activities in support of the project, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are completed in accordance with the scheduled go-live(s).
- Provide the functional design for the Workbrain solution.
- Lead requirements and design workshops with business unit.
- Critically evaluate requirements and reconcile conflicts to define functional design.
- Collaborate with configuration and development teams during the development stage to ensure functional design is maintained.
- Coordinate with Release and Change Management Services.
- Participate in project status and conglomerate team meetings.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager, Director and Client Relationship Manager to explore, document, prioritize and resolve the issues discovered through incident reporting or design gap analysis including the resolution of issues across teams; evaluating risk and escalating to senior management as required.
- Support the analysis, development and maintenance of project metrics, scorecards, dashboards and status reports, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are completed and distributed as appropriate.
- Create integration work plan and deliverable listing to support project master plan schedule.
- Provide Issue Management services for Integration components.
- Calc group structure design (Pros and Cons based on the original requirements docs).
- Gather Policy Requirements and Current Practices
- a. Identify key stakeholders
- b. Inventory the contracts applicable to each in-scope population
- c. Review and update the rule inventory document utilizing the contracts for each population
- d. Review and confirm work already completed to confirm/validate possible approaches to configure the WB Workbrain Solution (i.e., documented policies and requirements)
- e. Conduct focus groups with payroll specialists to understand current practices and exceptions.
- Create, review and edit test scripts from a functional design perspective.
- Participate in defect resolution for all testing phases (Systems, Integration, Parallel, User Acceptance, etc.)
Specific Deliverables:
· Rule Inventory updated rule inventory based focus group sessions regarding current GBSI practices (Union, Schedule etc.)
· Detailed Customer Requirements – MRLS
· As-is Process Flows Document detailing current process flows. Document will also notate pain points with current processes
· To-be Process Flows Document detailing to-be process flows addressing the current pain points
· Conceptual Functional Design Specifications (indicate how the Workbrain application will be designed for the WB Workbrain Solution taking into account the requirements for each population, effort and flexibility of application maintenance as well as ease of use by the end users. Document will present approaches for the use of calc groups and provide recommendations. The conceptual design will identify how data will pass in and out of the WB Workbrain Solution.)
· Final Rule Inventory for Production Union Population - Final document detailing rules and directional test cases for the Production Union Population.
· Configured calculation groups in the Workbrain application for Production Union population.
