Responsibilities:

This position involves developing the rating engines for multiple states to make available on our interactive platform.

The code needs to be modeled after existing code in a different language.

Candidate must be able to design, develop, test, debug and implement the code changes into production.

Candidate must be able to deal with pressure and deadlines, work effectively to resolve issues, and function in a relatively independent manner.

 

Specific Skill or Knowledge Required:

> Strong OO analysis and design skills (required)

> C++ programming experience (required)

> C# development skills (preferred) or ability to analyze and interpret C# code (required)

> Background in policy rating systems and/or math (helpful)

 

Responsible for developing program specifications/detail design documents.

Codes, tests and debugs applications programs.

Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of business systems.

Has participated in the application design of systems, including use of analytical techniques;

Develops prototypes from functional specifications;

Designs application sub-systems and small systems;

Has participated in the development of functional specifications;

Assists users in testing, training, and preparation for operations.

6+ yrs. of prior developer/programmer experience is required.
