 Title : Java Architect

Location : Herndon,VA

Duration : 6 months

Rate : doe

Start date : 1st week of October

Requires 10+ years of experience in software development/architecture, at least 3 in the telecom industry in BSS/OSS Ability to understand business needs and clearly document business and functional requirements, including business processes and workflow using standard techniques including UML.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences Able to decompose and solve problems at the appropriate level within the system, keeping in mind the higher level structures and their requirements and dependencies with adjoining subsystems Experience working with cross-functional teams from multiple departments Ability to define and prioritize product requirements and work with technical teams Ability to analyze and understand complex workflows and processes, and to develop innovative approaches to streamlining and automating them Experience in communicating functional requirements to the developers and facilitate the development of solutions Outstanding attention to detail Ability to multi-task and handle ambiguity Must be a team player.

Must  have  "can do"/"will do" attitude.
