4 Month Contract

 

We are in need of a Test Lead/Tester to work on the External Depot Repair project.

 

Description of Responsibilities:

•                       This role will work closely with our PM, BAs & Dev team to develop and execute QA strategy and Testing processes for the custom-developed Microsoft technology applications supporting Geek Squad services.

•                       Understand the end-to-end testing requirements and maintain a test plan for system, functional, integrations & UATs processes.

•                       This individual will work with our business partners to clearly identify and document use cases as well as develop the UAT's / Test Scenarios and Scripting for both.

•                       Bug reporting, defect reproducing/defect tracking and regression testing of bug fixes is a necessary skill set.

•                       Work with Project Managers/Business Analysts to resolve testing prioritization challenges.

•                       Communication of technical information to a non-technical audience and of business information to a technical audience.

•                       Planning, documentation, analysis and quality assurance management techniques.

•                       Testing, verification and validation techniques.

 

Description of Skills:

MUST HAVE

•                       Experience with Agile development methodologies such as story boarding, defining testing/acceptance criteria in the story process, daily standups, involvement in iteration and release planning required. 

•                       Experience in turning defects into customer driven test cases

•                       Basic understanding of the UX design process

•                       Strong verbal and written communication skills

•                       2+ years Experience working in cross-functional Agile/scrum teams

•                       2+ years Experience with bug tracking software such as TFS 2010

•                       Ability to jump in and learn new tools/applications quickly

•                       Experience with test automation using industry standard tools and/or scripting

•                       Strong analytic and problem solving skills

•                       Strong Communication; verbal and written

•                       Strong sense of ownership and accountability for responsibilities with a "can do" attitude.

•                       Must be a self-starter, possess an enthusiastic approach and can lead to drive deliverables and tasks to completion.
