About The Opportunity

Solid understanding of standard client/server, networking, and Internet fundamentals and demonstrated technical proficiency in System Center Operations Manager with experience in managing large environments. The candidate should be able to troubleshoot all aspects of SCOM effectively and understand the product configuration, flow and logging in detail. The candidate should understand fully the base OS and SCOM Management Packs.

Responsibilities include:

• Ongoing maintenance and administration of System Center Operations Manager
• Assistance with execution of projects related to areas of responsibility
• Document supporting policies, processes and procedures within your areas of responsibilities
• Oversee the rollout of monitoring software updates
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems associated to monitoring systems
• Manage the installation of new software releases, system upgrades, and patch installs that resolves monitoring related software problems
• Routinely review monitoring systems and services to ensure stability and security

About You

• 5 or more years' experience supporting Windows environments
• Hands-on technical expertise with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager on a large scale installation
• Exceptional communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with technicians and customers in a cooperative manner.
• Strong organization and analysis skills
• Proven ability to work in both a team environment and independently
