Excellent knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling concepts, enterprise data modeling experience would be a huge plus. Data integration concepts, working knowledge of ELT/ETL, source to target mapping and writing advanced/complex SQL code skills are must have
Our Client, in Houston TX, is seeking an experienced Data Modeler/Analyst, in Business Intelligence , for a long-term contract opportunity.
In order to address the complex systems integration efforts involving multiple systems, the Data Modeler/Analyst must have expertise in relational and dimensional data modeling, enterprise data management methodologies, and possess the ability to analyze large volumes of data for business rules definition and validation. The primary responsibility is to develop the logical and physical design of an emerging data warehouse environment using dimensional modeling best practices. Additional duties include: performing complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc customer requests and analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations on data.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years' experience as a Data Modeler with involvement in multiple data warehousing and or business intelligence reporting projects.
• Significant experience with analyzing large volumes of data using a structure methodology
• Proven experience completing deliverables such as data models, data flow diagrams, data value maps with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with project team members and management.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills required.
• Experience working with a range of DBMS and data warehousing tools in different operating environments (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
• Strong hands-on ERWIN or ER/Studio experience and a good understanding of Informatica ETL, Essbase, MicroStrategy, and other related reporting technologies.
• Ability to conduct user interviews and perform detailed data analysis to identify appropriate data sources, key facts, and dimensions that support the business requirements.
• Perform needed tasks to support the standardization of facts and dimensions.
• Develop entity and attribute descriptions and definitions for the models and resolve conflicts.
• Assist with ETL source-target mappings, data consolidation, and ensure the Data Architecture is applied properly.
• Experience integrating disparate systems into conformed dimensions
• Extensive experience designing relational and dimensional data models, deploying and supporting a large, complex data warehouse / data marts.
• Expert level SQL skills
• Ability to present information, analysis, ideas, and positions in a clear and convincing manner to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and anticipate team needs along with ability to operate and promote an environment of teamwork.
• Strong organization skills, ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

PHP Developer (LAMP Stack)
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Note: Need to attend In-Person interview.
Locals Highly Preferred.
Requirements:
· At least 5 years PHP development experience working in all aspects of a LAMP environment.
· Experience in object oriented PHP 5 a must.
· Experience in creating PHPUnit tests
· Experience in SOA
· At least 5 years experience in some or all of the following: Ajax, Javascript, XML, Smarty Templating Engine, CSS, and HTML.
· Experience in, and strong understanding of Model-View-Controller application design.
· Strong experience integrating PHP with database layers.
· Experience using Subversion source control system.
· Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
· Ability to produce well commented, clean code written to specific coding standards.
· Enterprise PHP development experience.
· Ability to pass LAMP competency testing during interview.
Will be given priority:
· Experience in Agile Development.
· Experience developing content management systems.
· Experience in Unit Testing.
· Nstein Web Content Management experience.
