Location:              Vancouver

Short Project Description:

New Software to replace the Tax System for ESD used to generate the cash from employers to fund the Unemployment benefits side.

 

Position Details

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or 2-4 additional years' experience.)

Minimum 2 years Automation Testing experience (with at least 1 year in VSTS); experience in building Automation Scrips, Libraries, Suites, etc..  Must

Must have the ability to comprehend complete Use Cases/business Rules and transform them into automated scripts using, in this case, MS Visual Studio Team System (VSTS).

2 or more years of direct experience in delivering testing services for various project sizes (or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field.)

Participates as a member of a Testing Team.

Performs work assigned by others

Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input.

Follows established guidelines and interprets policies.

Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.

Ability to apply intermediate level of Information Testing knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues.

Works on problems / projects of moderately complex scope.

Interacts with the project team to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and conformance criteria.

Supports knowledge management and collaboration through participation in testing discussions, communities and improving testing collateral through lessons learned.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Designs testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications.

Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks

Participate in, and may design, solutions for areas of project responsibility.
