Sr. .NET Developer (Sitecore)
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be an experienced developer in most phases of the project life cycle, including Requirements, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Implementation.
· The primary responsibility will be to take approved requirements and turn them into Sitecore CMS driven pages and modules. This would include items such as writing .NET code, database design/queries, HTML/CSS development and initial QA for one of the largest food sites in the country.
· This candidate should be well versed in caching strategies and the do's and don'ts of web development related to building high-performance, and scalable high-volume public internet websites.
· The candidate would be required to work with QA teams, project leads, technical leads, and attend code reviews and performance testing sessions at times.
Mandatory skills:
· Visual Studio 2010
· ASP.Net 3.5/4.0 development using C# and VB.Net.
· AJAX/Javascript/ Jquery 1.4/1.5 & MS AJAX
· SQL Server experience writing and optimizing queries
· Full Understanding of nHibernate 2.10GA
· Cross-browser testing & rendering workarounds
· CSS – Stylesheets development
· HTML development (HTML, CSS – Tableless designs, SEO awareness, content organization & speed optimizations).
· Experience building Internet website, NOT applications or intranet sites
· MS Test Unit Testing
· Object-Oriented Programming skills should be very strong.
Nice-to-have:
Sitecore CMS v6.1 or Higher
Team Foundation Server for source control
Team Foundation Server for team test
Graphic optimization - CSS
Slicing and exporting of graphics
