Design, develop, code, and deploy new or improved eVisor rule sets. This individual is responsible to maximize performance of eVisor rules engine when determining and implementing rule sets. Working with the Governance team, evaluates all existing rule sets to improve and then maintain accuracy and performance of each rule set. The position requires work completion independent of other SAS IT expertise to complete their job. Once new rules are modeled and tested, this individual will guide SAS IT programmers within eVisor team to standardize and implement the rule(s). This individual will update inaccuracies identified in existing rules and schedule deployment through the monthly deployment process. As new data streams are considered for eVIsor integration, this individual will work with Governance team to evaluate and test new rules sets to assure predictable prevalence and accurate identification of consumers or providers for intervention initiatives. This position will require an individual that is a self starter and can drive business initiatives independent of direct day-to-day supervision.
Design, develop, code, and deploy new or improved eVisor rule sets to improve accuracy and performance of eVisor engine processing. Day-to-day work requires:
§ Solving complex rule inaccuracies to assure accurate identification and stratification for Enterprise Identification Services to assure optimal engine performance
§ Key resource to Governance and Quality team, Agile, and Capitol team to assure rule coding delivers expected prevalence and accurate identification
§ Responsible to deploy corrected rule codes and logic within 60 days of identification of the inaccuracy
§ Responsible to align all rules released with product/program value proposition
§ Provides stakeholder reporting on all rule coding releases and decisions
§ Implement initiatives to achieve reduced 'event to identification/referral' for all rule sets
§ Maintain standard documentation for all rules with in each data set used for identification
§ Analyze and implement strategy to improve speed of rule correction releases
§ Participate and present findings at enterprise wide Annual Product/Program Rule Summit
§ 5+ years of experience
§ SAS Analytics expertise
§ Experience managing large enterprise-wide programs
§ Experience in developing a strategy and executing it to launch
§ Experience within the HealthCare industry
§ Experience with identification and stratification engines for campaign management or business rules development
§ Strong focus on execution and delivery
§ Professional approach
§ Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
§ Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)
