Position Title : VB.Net Developer
Location: Polk County, IA.

Duration: 1Year+ Extn.

Client: State of Iowa

 
Job Description & Skills :
 

• The IID needs to migrate its current product registration front end (designed in Access 97) to a new front end built in Microsoft Visual (.net)  and continue to use SQL as the data store. Must connect to outside data feed
• Visual Basic with .net experience.
• Familiar with SQL functions and reporting.
• SQL migration from 2000 to 2012.
• Ability to design and code a new front-end application to receive and process registrations. 
• Experience with mapping data internally to SQL.
• Experience working with third-party vendors who send daily files that IID must process and store.
• Ability to review existing code in ACCESS 97 and create new functionality in VB.
• Ability to utilize SSIS in SQL.
• Alternative to Visual Basic with .net - - C# with .net would be considered.
• Ability to create all necessary reports.
• Must have experience with Polycom VTC equipment.
