JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with strong software development principles to join our team in the development, support, and maintenance of an enterprise class system and its interfaces. The Software Engineer will be primarily responsible for planning, design, development, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications using .NET and Oracle database technologies. Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, and responsible team-player.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Builds new/enhance existing systems in .NET using WCF Services, Oracle, and SOA technologies.
* Works with business team and other software developers in completing software development and enhancement tasks.
* Analyzes requirements and designs solutions for projects and change requests.
* Codes, tests, debugs, implements, documents, and maintains complex programs.
* Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
* Creates appropriate technical documentation.
* Performs code reviews for other team members.
* Prepares estimates of effort and duration for development tasks and activities.
* Identifies and validates solution interfaces, dependencies, and integration points.
* Ensures that developed code is compliant with best practices, standards, and enterprise architecture.
* Participates in and supports quality assurance and testing.
* Responsible for ongoing support and troubleshooting.
* Remains up to date on latest technologies
REQUIRED SKILL SET:
Candidate must possess strong problem solving, leadership, and communication skills. Candidate must have solid understanding of software architecture.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field in software development
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong understanding of software architecture and programming Desired Skill Set:
• Knowledge in working with SQL Server 2008 or Oracle.
• Working knowledge of messaging platforms TIBCO/JMS.
• Experience working on building enterprise class applications using SOA Technologies.
• Experience working with Java technologies.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and Messaging Platforms
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET/WCF using C# and .NET Technologies.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software architecture and development
• 5+ years of Oracle/MSSQL development experience
• 5+ years of .NET Development (C#) experience
• 5+ years of Web Design (HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS) experience
• Strong understanding of database architecture and programming
• Extensive experience with software platform architecture
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and Messaging Platforms
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET/WCF using C# and .NET Technologies.
• Test automation using Python or Ruby, especially for a SOA based architecture.
• Experience with a Test Automation Framework, or Test Automation Framework design.
• Experience with Load and Stress testing large scale software platforms.
Desired Skills:
'• Experience with SOAP and REST Web Services.
• Working knowledge of messaging platforms TIBCO/JMS.
• Experience working on building enterprise class applications using SOA Technologies.
• Experience working with Java technologies.
• Experience with Selenium or other tools (Watir, for example).
