Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field required 6-12 years experience required
Required Skills & Experience
Description:
• Web Technologies, .Net Framework 4.0/4.5, C#, ASP.NET MVC 4, Web API, Entity Framework 4, LINQ, CSLA 4.0, HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, Knockout.js, JSON, Raven DB, OData, Signal-R.
• Ability and proven experience working with Onshore/Offshore model as well as ability to work effectively with Operational Team Members.
• Ability to generate Dynamic UI based on the data from API.
• Ability to create Client side Custom UI Controls and Consume them on webpages and Knockout.
• Ability to Create Custom membership providers for Authentication.
• Strong and current programming ability in C#
• Experience with different API protocols like REST, SOAP, OData.
• Broad and deep experience in Consuming and Developing SOAP Services, WCF Services, WebAPI's, REST API's.
• Broad and deep experience in WCF and ASP.NET MVC 3 and 4
• Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle and Raven DB.
• Experience working on large scale systems (hundreds of concurrent users, multiple locations online at the same time, very large volumes of data, etc.)
• Fluency in written and spoken English, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (Required)
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue
• Work with remote teams and communicate across geographical boundaries
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and create new software in a agile environment.
• Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
• Consult with backend and product teams to evaluate interfaces between software systems, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve operations team problems
Desired Skills & Experience
Description:
• Knowledge in Video Transcoding, Streaming and Delivery.
• Knowledge of Edge and CDN Servers.
• Experience with WEB API, Web Sockets.
• Strong and current programming ability in JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery Plugins, Knockout, Bootstrap, Infuser and related technologies
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle and Raven DB is required and other databases knowledge is optional.
• Experience and understanding of event-driven architectures
• Experience in working with Windows Azure cloud servers is a Plus.
• Understanding of eventual consistency and experience implementing systems using it
