System Engineer

*upon offer candidates must complete a background check*

 

Provide design engineering support for voice and contact center projects.

1 - Translate designs from high-level to low-level w implementation plans

2 - Work with voice and contact center delivery teams

3 - Assist with integrating work efforts of other infrastructure teams (network, storage, server) – ensure correct requirements provided to support teams and proper infrastructure information manifest in project designs

4 - Create and maintain detailed design documents, diagrams and engineering specifications

 

- 3 to 5 years of engineering experience with Cisco telephony (UCM) and Contact Center (UCCE) solutions. (Call Manager, voice gateways, Peripheral gateways, ICM, CTI servers, HDS, SIP Proxy, IVR.)

- Experience with workforce management solutions and voice recording systems (NICE) a plus.

- Working familiarity with network concepts – routing, switching, IP addressing

- Experience with virtual server environments (VMware, etc.)

- Experience with Cisco UCS hardware a plus.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to function in a multi-sourced, multi-vendor environment
